JORVIK Viking Centre York

The world-famous JORVIK Viking Centre is a 'must-see' for visitors to the city of York and is one of the most popular visitor attractions in the UK outside London. This year they celebrate 25 years since the Jorvik Viking Centre opened its doors with a series of special events. Welcoming 15 million visitors over the past 24 years, visitors can journey through the reconstruction of Viking-Age streets as they would have been in the year AD975. JORVIK Viking Centre also offers three exciting exhibitions and the chance to actually come face to face with a Viking.

Sealife Centre (Scarborough)

Lightwater Valley

Lightwater Valley is a theme park in Ripon, North Yorkshire, England. The park is perhaps best known for being the home of Europe’s longest rollercoaster - The Ultimate. The park features around 40 other rides and a birds of prey centre and other animal displays and attractions and is also home to retail outlets and restaurants. The park currently attracts approximately 330,000 visitors.

Miniature Model Railway At Gilling East

Monk Park Farm

Monk Park Farm is located near Thirsk in North Yorkshire and is in the heart of Herriot Country and on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. This wonderful Children's Farm is one of Yorkshire's best Places to Visit and is ideal for school visits and educational farm visits. As an Animal Park it is extensive with so much to do. Wolds Way Lavender Farm

This family run 12-acre site is currently planted with over 6.5 acres of lavender ranging from rich hues of purple to purest white. Essentials oils, creams and toiletries are available, extracted on site from the Deer Park Distillery, Yorkshire’s only Lavender Distillery. Set within half a mile from the Yorkshire Wolds Way National Trail, the lavender farm is surrounded by mature woodland, on the edge of the picturesque Yorkshire Wolds. First opened in 2003, the dream has been to create a Lavender and Herb Farm for people to walk round and enjoy. The farm has built their own distillery so their lavender from the fields can be distilled at Wolds Way Lavender to extract the 100% Pure Lavender Essential Oil. A leisurely stroll around the site reveals the amazing differences between one variety of lavender and another.
